You will oversee planning, design, construction, and budget management from inception to completion, coordinating with legal, planning, and internal teams.

The role requires strong site evaluation, due diligence, and documentation expertise, with responsibility for maintaining records and ensuring compliance with city standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Professional level project management with a focus on real estate acquisitions.
• Ability to manage property acquisition end-to-end including due diligence, filings, and closings.
• Coordinate with legal, planning, and city departments to ensure compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage real estate acquisition from start to finish, including site evaluation, purchase agreements, easements, and closing.
• Direct due diligence for prospective park properties with title reviews, appraisals, surveys, and land-use analysis.
• Ensure filings and recordings for deeds, plats, and agreements are completed post-acquisition.
• Coordinate with the Department of City Planning to assign proper addresses and permitability for parks.
• Maintain real property records including deeds, legal descriptions, and maps.
• Oversee park planning, design, construction, and capital projects from conception to completion with internal and external resources.
• Engage with community members and city colleagues on project delivery and acquisition efforts.
• Establish budgets, schedules, and monitor adherence to terms.
