Job summary

Jobot, a Raleigh-based real estate investment firm, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. You will work on property-level financial performance, investment valuations, capital planning, and strategic financial decisions with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has real estate financial analysis experience, advanced Excel modeling, and familiarity with AI-based reporting to improve efficiency and decision making. This is an onsite role in Raleigh with strong benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive financial analysis experience, incl. 2+ years in real estate (multifamily preferred).
Advanced Excel capabilities including three-statement modeling and cash flow projections.
Experience with AI platforms for financial analysis and reporting automation.
FCCS experience: trial balance, consolidations, intercompany eliminations.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties and funds.
Analyze results, identify trends, and report to senior leadership.
Monitor occupancy, rental growth, NOI margins, and operating expenses.
Develop property valuations using direct cap and DCF methodologies.
Build models supporting acquisitions, renovations, financings, and dispositions.
Prepare dashboards and investment presentations for executives and investors.
Utilize AI to automate reporting and enhance analytical workflows.
