Job summary

Related Group seeks a Development Manager to supervise due diligence, entitlements, design and construction for new builds and acquisitions. The DM will work with acquisitions staff, principals, consultants, and municipal authorities to plan project design and secure approvals.

You will monitor progress, schedules, and costs, interfacing with construction managers and management staff to ensure projects advance on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with site development for Multifamily Condo projects.
• Experience in engineering, planning, residential and commercial development, budgets and/or entitlements is a plus.
• Must have multifamily or condominium development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-development activities including market/site identification, zoning, deal structuring and underwriting.
• Maximize profitability by aligning scope, schedule and budget with business plan objectives.
• Assess financial feasibility via pro forma and IRR analyses.
• Develop timelines and monthly status reports; prepare financing packages and equity sources.
• Lead permitting and entitlement processes; coordinate with consultants and authorities.
• Coordinate marketing and leasing collateral; align with other departments to pipeline deals.
