Job summary
Vivmark Residential seeks a Director of Development to lead complex apartment- community projects in major markets across the U.S. You will guide acquisitions, planning, design, and approvals, while coordinating with builders, financiers, and municipalities.
Ideal candidates bring seven+ years in real estate development, strong financial modeling, and proven leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, with LEED or similar credentials considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA in Real Estate or Master in Real Estate Development preferred.
- Seven+ years of real estate development experience including multifamily or mixed-use projects.
- Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills.
- Experience leading entitlement, design, and development execution processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Lead development projects through acquisition, planning, entitlements, design, construction, lease-up, and stabilization.
- Evaluate feasibility via market analysis and underwriting.
- Prepare investment recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees.
- Coordinate entitlements with municipalities, agencies, and partners.
- Lead cross-functional asset teams and report to senior leadership.
