Job summary

Audrey Golden Associates Ltd. is assisting a large publicly traded company with national and international real estate operations in hiring a Senior In-House Real Estate Counsel.

The role supports an active acquisitions and development platform, handling complex transactions from LOI to closing. You will negotiate P&S agreements, manage due diligence, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic matters.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions and development
• In-house real estate experience preferred; REIT/developer/investment platform background
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and business judgment skills

Responsibilities

• Lead legal work for complex real estate transactions from LOI through closing
• Negotiate and manage purchase and sale agreements for a high-volume portfolio
• Oversee due diligence, title, survey, and closing processes
• Mentor junior lawyers and advise senior leadership on transactional matters
• Collaborate with business teams to provide practical, business-oriented guidance
• Support large portfolio transactions and individual asset deals
• Engage across finance, corporate, operations, construction, leasing, and condemnation matters
