Addison Group is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel in Dallas to serve as a key legal advisor to executive leadership, overseeing a broad range of transactional real estate matters. This role offers direct interaction with ownership, lenders, investors, and outside counsel, guiding complex projects and leading a team of legal professionals.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from an accredited law school; Texas Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, with significant transactional real estate handling.
• Strong transactional real estate expertise across acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development.
• Experience interacting with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, development projects, and leasing activities.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of agreements: purchase and sale, commercial leases, development, construction, property management, financing, easements.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and coordinate specialized services as needed.
• Provide legal guidance on title matters, surveys, due diligence, entitlements, and regulatory issues.
• Oversee litigation and dispute management with external counsel.
• Advise executives on legal risks, business initiatives, and strategic transactions.
• Lead and mentor a team of legal support professionals and establish efficient processes.
