Qualifications

• J.D. and strong academic credentials.
• Approximately 8+ years of experience advising on complex commercial real estate transactions.
• Significant experience handling retail, multi-location, or high-volume real estate portfolios.
• Deep understanding of commercial leasing, acquisitions, development projects, and related transactional documentation.
• Experience negotiating directly with sophisticated landlords, developers, property owners, and external counterparties.
• Familiarity with easements, mixed-use developments, environmental considerations, distressed property issues, assignments, and other complex real estate structures.
• Ability to balance legal risk with practical business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach across a broad range of issues.
• Exposure to construction-related agreements or development projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead negotiations and documentation for a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and asset management matters.
• Partner with internal business teams on issues arising throughout the lifecycle of real estate assets.
• Advise stakeholders on landlord-tenant matters, property-related disputes, operational challenges, construction concerns, and contract interpretation.
• Review title, survey, environmental, and due diligence materials to identify and mitigate risks.
• Support real estate development strategy by collaborating with external advisors and local counsel.
• Assist in managing disputes and litigation involving real estate assets and commercial property matters.
• Contribute to development of legal templates, processes, and best practices across real estate.
• Provide legal support on zoning, permitting, land use, and related regulatory considerations.
