Job summary

Entergy Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Counsel or Assistant General Counsel for Real Estate in New Orleans, LA. The role blends senior advisory duties with transactional real estate work across Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi, including title and survey diligence, easements, leases, and purchase agreements.

Hybrid work placement is available, with on-site requirements for the Assistant General Counsel.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of title insurance and survey matters.
• Experience with energy asset projects or regulated utilities a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a team setting.
• Experience using AI tools for efficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage legal support for real property transactions across multiple states (TX, LA, AR, MS).
• Support title and survey due diligence, and draft/ review related agreements.
• Assist with zoning, subdivision, mineral rights, and lien issues in real property work.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, easements, and related documents.
• Advise management on real estate risks and provide training to non-lawyers.
