Job summary

The PeterSan Group and PeterSan Legal Staffing seek an Assistant General Counsel to advise on a broad range of real estate matters for a dynamic LNG provider. You will lead or co‑lead structuring, drafting and negotiating land acquisitions, leases, financing, and development agreements.

Requirements include 7–10 years of experience at a large law firm or in-house, with a strong background in real estate transactions and preferred experience in the oil, gas, pipeline, or LNG sectors.

Job description

Our client, a dynamic LNG provider, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to advise the company on a variety of real estate matters, including real property acquisitions, ground leases, easements and rights‑of‑way, zoning applications, title insurance, eminent domain proceedings and other real estate matters. Working closely with the development team, you will lead or co‑lead the process of structuring, drafting and negotiating various real estate and project development agreements, including a broad variety of land acquisition, leasing, financing, and development agreements.

Applicants must have the following qualifications to be considered:

• Seven to ten years of experience working at a large law firm or as in‑house counsel, with experience advising on real estate transactions in Louisiana and Texas. Transaction experience in the oil, gas, pipeline, and/or LNG industry is preferred.
