Leoforce in New York seeks a high-impact Director of Accounting to lead a team responsible for the close, reporting, and controls across a diversified real estate portfolio. You will drive GAAP financials and partner with asset management and ownership to optimize performance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of accounting leadership in real estate, strong technical skills, and hands-on experience with Yardi or similar platforms. CPA preferred and hybrid work flexibility offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience blending public accounting and real estate.
• Direct experience supervising, training, and developing accounting staff.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial office, or retail properties.
• Strong technical accounting skills, including writing memos on complex transactions.
• Hands on Yardi experience preferred, or a comparable real estate accounting platform.

Responsabilidades

• Lead accounting team and manage close workflow.
• Prepare consolidated GAAP financials across property types.
• Direct forecasts, budgets, and variances with asset management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual close.
• Liaise with external auditors and field memos for complex topics.
• Lead accounting support for acquisitions, dispositions, and JV transactions.
