Job summary

Berkadia is seeking a Senior Real Estate Analyst to join the Seniors Housing Debt Capital Markets team in Austin, leveraging expertise in commercial real estate finance to lead analytical initiatives and support client needs. You will conduct due diligence, value properties, size loans, and manage processes to ensure successful closings.

The role requires experience in real estate transactions, strong modeling ability, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 2–3+ years in commercial real estate debt capital markets or related field.
• Experience in senior living preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze property, portfolio and company level financials to determine deal viability and terms.
• Prepare Offering Materials for investors with qualitative and quantitative rationale and market analysis.
• Answer due diligence questions and provide information on request.
• Compile market research data and maintain senior housing market databases.
• Interact with senior leaders at borrower and investors throughout loan submission and underwriting.
• Assist Managing Directors in marketing company products and services.
