Related Group, a leading real estate development and management firm, seeks an experienced Accountant in Miami to support multiple development projects. You will handle month-end closes, budgeting, and financial reporting across several entities, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely disclosures.

CPA eligibility or CPA preferred, with 5+ years in real estate accounting and strong communication skills. The role requires proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software, with the ability to

Qualifications

• CPA required or eligible to sit for the CPA.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or other business disciplines.
• Five (5)+ years experience as an accountant in real estate or similar.
• Experience in preparing and posting general ledger journal entries.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement disclosures.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate financial activities and projects across multiple real estate development projects.
• Perform monthly close and reconciliation of general ledgers.
• Assist in the monthly close process and analyze financial results for multiple projects.
• Prepare monthly budgets and draws to the lender.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Assist in the year-end package for auditors and annual financial/tax statements.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for several entities.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Complete other duties as required.
