Job summary

RE Property Management and Development is seeking a Senior Development Accountant in Miami to lead financial management for development projects. The role covers financing, construction draws, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA desirable) and at least 5 years in property accounting with expertise in construction draws and bridge loans. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in property accounting and development projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for development projects with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage construction draw process with project managers, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Handle bridge loan financing, including draw requests, interest calculations, and repayments.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for properties.
• Perform CAM reconciliations and allocate costs to tenants accurately.
• Collaborate on financial analyses and strategic planning initiatives.
• Assist with accounting policy development to improve efficiency, and mentor junior staff.
