Related Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Miami to manage financial activities across multiple real estate development projects. You will perform monthly closes, prepare budgets and lender draws, and generate management reports.

The role requires a CPA or CPA eligibility, a bachelor’s in accounting, and a master’s in accounting/finance is a plus. Strong GAAP knowledge, communication, and organizational skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA required or eligible to sit for the CPA.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline is preferred.
• Five+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or real estate.
• GAAP knowledge and strong analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Overtime flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial activities across multiple real estate development projects.
• Perform monthly close and reconcile general ledgers.
• Analyze financial results and prepare monthly budgets and draws to lenders.
• Prepare monthly management reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Assist in year-end package preparation for auditors and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Perform other duties as required.
