Job summary

Knife River Corporation seeks a leadership-driven professional to guide the ready mix sales staff, dispatch, and quality control teams. You will oversee forecasting, pricing targets, and major bids, while maintaining key customer relationships and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role supports development of sales strategies, training curricula, and collaboration with senior leadership to meet margin goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent preferred
• 5 years sales and marketing management in concrete industry
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
• Assigns sales territory to sales staff.
• Represents company at trade association meetings and events.
• Develops direction for product and service development through surveys and customer interactions.
• Maintain contact with Top 20 customers and assist sales staff in preparing major bids.
• Forecasts sales volumes with Sales and Operations VPs and leads daily to achieve forecast.
• Oversees Customer Service and Ready Mix Quality Control supervision.
