Job summary

The role involves leading engineering activities, managing projects, and providing expert consultation to resolve equipment and system issues. Significant travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years with Constellation Reactor Services.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years with Constellation Reactor Services.
• Associate or trades apprenticeship with 7 years of industry experience or 5 years with Constellation Reactor Services.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of industry experience or 7 years with Constellation Reactor Services.
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis and programs.
• Offer technical consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering task execution and ensure quality and schedule compliance.
• Perform engineering tasks applying general engineering principles.
• Ensure proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, codes and procedures.
• Conduct independent research supporting regulatory/technical projects.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Travel 10–50% of time to another Constellation Clean Energy Center.
