Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced engineering professional to perform advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. You will act as a resource and technical expert to engineers, making critical decisions and applying industry codes and regulations.

The role requires broad knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to lead short- and long-term programs, while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance in a demanding energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) or related science.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Active/Inactive SRO license with 5 years nuclear power plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert when consulted to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
• Accountable for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work and proper configuration management.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• All other duties including outage support as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science

Professional Engineer License

Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years nuclear power plant experience
