Job summary

Constellation is seeking a highly skilled engineer to perform advanced technical problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. You will make technical decisions with broad knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include developing and managing engineering analyses, resolving system problems, and ensuring design criteria are correctly applied. Travel to centers is required, and duties may include outage support and other assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years in Constellation Reactor Services.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years industry experience or 3 years in Constellation Reactor Services.
• Associates degree or skilled trades apprenticeship with 7 years industry experience or 5 years in Constellation Reactor Services.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years industry experience or 7 years in Constellation Reactor Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analyses and programs.
• Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical consultation.
• Manage engineering issues from assignment to completion with proper documentation.
• Perform engineering tasks applying standard design criteria and codes.
• Conduct independent research and analyses for regulatory projects.
• Travel 10–50% to Constellation Clean Energy Centers as needed.
• Support outage activities and other duties as assigned.
