Job summary

BossTax is seeking a hands-on React Native engineer to own our mobile app end-to-end. You will lead feature development, maintain the codebase, manage releases, and ensure a reliable experience as we grow.

Join a small, autonomous team and leverage AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate delivery, testing, and maintenance. You will collaborate with the founder and backend engineers to ship with quality.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and shipping production React Native apps.
• Experience owning mobile apps in production, including releases and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Expo build, update, and deployment workflows.
• Ability to work independently and own end-to-end deliverables.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Own the React Native mobile app development from architecture to production releases.
• Build and ship new features with founder and backend team.
• Manage iOS and Android builds, listings, and updates.
• Maintain Expo workflows, builds, and release management.
• Keep dependencies and native integrations up to date.
• Diagnose production issues and improve app performance.
• Use Claude Code to accelerate implementation and testing.
