Job summary

On Me is seeking a mobile software engineer to own our native iOS and Android experiences end-to-end. You’ll ship polished, performant apps with clean API integrations, shaping user journeys and handling edge cases across devices.

You’ll join a tiny startup of builders from Google and Apple, contribute to architecture and product decisions, and help scale our mobile platform for thousands of users from our SF or NYC hybrid offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping native mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android) with strong experience in at least one.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, and release management (TestFlight, Play Console).
• Solid understanding of API integration, data modeling, and how systems fail in practice.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship native iOS and/or Android features using Swift and Kotlin.
• Build high-quality mobile UIs with polish, animation, and responsive layout.
• Architect and evolve mobile codebases for maintainability and performance.
• Integrate with backend APIs and collaborate on API design for mobile use cases.
• Drive mobile architecture decisions to scale to hundreds of thousands of users.
• Set up crash reporting and release tooling for mobile apps.
