Job summary

UST is seeking a React Native Lead/Architect to own the mobile program architecture across iOS and Android. You will write production code daily, set engineering standards, and lead remote teams across time zones, collaborating with product, UX, backend, QA, and client stakeholders.

You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with design to translate business goals into technical plans while pushing performance improvements and reliable release processes for app stores

Qualifications

12+ years in software engineering; 6+ years in React Native.
Expert React Native, React and TypeScript, with experience building and owning complex, large-scale mobile apps.
Deep hands-on experience with React Native New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, Codegen) and Hermes.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of a cross-platform React Native application for iOS and Android.
Write production code daily, including features, native modules, and tooling, and contribute to coding standards.
Define and maintain mobile architecture, including navigation, state management, offline behavior, and native module integration.
