Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Senior Mobile App Engineer to lead cross‑platform React Native apps powering EEG headbands and wearables for clinical trials and home diagnostics. You will own UX, performance, and reliability while collaborating with native iOS/Android SDK teams and the Devices group to integrate device capabilities.

This role emphasizes a product mindset, async collaboration, and shaping the roadmap of Beacon’s mobile platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mobile development experience shipping production React Native apps on iOS and Android.
• Strong TypeScript skills; familiarity with React Native, Expo, GitHub.
• Experience with app state management, offline-first data handling, and store release processes.
• Product mindset with a focus on UX, edge cases and performance.
• Excellent communication in a collaborative, async environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android.
• Design and implement UX workflows for trial participants and at-home diagnostic users.
• Own the user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of the apps and features.
• Collaborate with iOS/Android native SDK teams to integrate device capabilities.
• Partner with Devices, Platform, and design teams to build deeply integrated mobile capabilities.
• Help shape the roadmap and technical direction of the mobile platform.
