Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer focused on device connectivity (iOS/Android) for a remote role based in the US. You will lead native BLE SDKs, ensure reliable data through diverse devices, and collaborate with the Devices team to refine firmware interfaces.

Your work powers EEG wearables and patient-facing apps. The role emphasizes building robust BLE connections, high-throughput data streaming, and exposing device capabilities to React Native, with a focus on reliability

Qualifications

• 8+ years in mobile development with native iOS and/or Android.
• Hands-on experience integrating BLE devices into production apps.
• Experience with sensor data streaming from wearables or similar devices.
• Focus on reliability, edge cases, and performance across devices.
• Strong communication and collaboration in async environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of native iOS and Android BLE SDKs.
• Own connection reliability, throughput, and battery use across devices.
• Collaborate with Devices team on firmware interfaces and GATT profiles.
• Expose device capabilities to React Native apps via clean native modules.
• Own device-connectivity observability using telemetry and user feedback.
• Help shape roadmap and technical direction of the mobile platform.
• Improve BLE pairing, reconnection, and streaming robustness.
