Job summary

Bios Life is seeking an experienced mobile engineer to independently deliver patient-facing features across a React Native app and supporting backend services. You will own full vertical slices, coordinating UI, GraphQL integration, and backend updates, with a focus on accessibility, security, and production readiness.

Responsibilities include building high-quality patient workflows, reducing crashes, and extending backend models and APIs while maintaining sound architecture and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 4 to 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong production experience with React Native and GraphQL.
• Secure application development and data handling.
• Experience with accessibility in mobile apps.
• Strong TypeScript skills and UI/UX sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complete patient-facing features from concept to release across React Native app and backend services.
• Own full vertical slices of work including UI, GraphQL integration, backend updates, loading and error states.
• Build and ship workflows such as appointment scheduling, care plan tracking, messaging, and core experiences.
• Improve app quality by reducing crashes, improving latency, and implementing monitoring and logging.
• Extend backend models and GraphQL APIs as needed for features.
