Job summary

Time To Pet, a DaySmart company, is hiring a Senior React Native Engineer to lead feature development and maintain our mobile app used by pet care providers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions.

This role is based in Austin, TX with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week, and offers hybrid/remote work options. You will engage in code reviews, contribute to the tech roadmap, and stay current with mobile development trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Exposure/experience with Expo.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality new features with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Maintain the existing code base by fixing bugs and improvements.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure successful delivery of features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Map real-world customer issues to product solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team alignment activities.
• Contribute to the development of the technical roadmap with innovation and efficiency.
