Job summary

Oracle’s AI Infrastructure - Network Operations team in OCI is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale RDMA/RoCE networks powering OCI’s AI and HPC workloads. You will support a global cloud environment and drive automation across hundreds of thousands of devices.

You will lead network changes, develop runbooks, mentor engineers, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects.
• Collaborate with program/project managers to develop milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and safely execute network changes using existing procedures; create new procedures when needed.
• Serve as technical lead for team projects; contribute to roadmaps and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design, development and testing of new features.
• Provide break-fix support for network events and perform post-event root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with networking automation services for tooling development and integration.
• Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and assist in firmware/OS qualification.
