Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA is seeking a Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner for a full-time night shift. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and perform blood gas analysis from sample collection to reporting.

Qualifications

• Certification from a Respiratory Therapy Program requirement.
• 2-year AMA-approved certificate in Respiratory Therapy program.
• CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License required upon hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• ACLS required within 90 days; PALS required within 90 days.
• 1 year of critical care experience in adult and neonatal ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Perform blood gas analysis: sticks, draws, analysis and reporting.
