Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner for a full-time night shift. The role requires collaboration with physicians and nurses to plan patient care and to operate advanced ventilatory support systems.

The candidate must have an AS degree in Respiratory Therapy, Oregon licensure, and AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, plus several years of RT experience in acute care and Birth Center/Labor and Delivery exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in respiratory therapy or equivalent experience.
• Oregon license required upon hire.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
• 3 years RT experience in acute care; 1 year Birth Center/Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care.
• Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems and monitoring devices.
• Assist physician in delivery of respiratory therapy and assessments.
• Complete department orientation and unit-specific orientation.
