Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited College in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Licensure as a California Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Experience in acute respiratory care, including routine and critical care.
• RRT credential holder preferred for RCP II

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, emergent and critical respiratory care to adults and neonatal ICU patients under management direction.
• Deliver care in accordance with unit protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Care Management and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited College, in the field of Respiratory Therapy

California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
