Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management Transformation Senior Manager to lead multiple workstreams across coding, billing, denials, cash posting, and AR follow-up within the Finance Transformation program.

You will partner with internal teams and external consultants to design future-state operating models, build financial case models, and ensure practical, sustainable redesigns aligned with our cost-to-collect and net revenue targets. This role is full-time in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or related field; 8+ years in revenue cycle operations, healthcare finance, or healthcare-focused strategy consulting.
• Hands-on experience in back-/middle-office RCM functions (coding, billing, denials, cash posting, AR follow-up).
• MBA, MHA, or similar advanced degree; experience with Epic revenue cycle modules and analytics tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RCM subject-matter expert across transformation workstreams.
• Benchmark current-state cost-to-collect and net revenue yield against industry standards and co-design target operating model.
• Lead transformation workstreams from diagnostics to go-live, guiding consulting resources and cross-functional contributors.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate workstream impact and track benefit realization.
• Monitor operational metrics and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
• Evaluate outsourcing, managed services, and AI/RPA options for back- and middle-office RCM.
