Job summary

Terros Health seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across clinical, operational, financial, and technological domains. You will provide data-driven insights to leadership and develop frameworks promoting safety, compliance, and resilience within a trauma-informed, integrated care environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
  • 5+ years in health care operations or administration.
  • 3+ years in internal audit or risk management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and be eligible to drive.
  • Must pass background check, TB test and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing performance of risk-based audit plans that comply with regulatory entities such as HRSA and FTCA, and oversee the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Design and perform audits of clinical, financial, regulatory, and operational processes, including evaluating internal control in key functional areas.
  • Manage risk audit findings and collaborate with SMEs to create mitigation plans.
  • Analyze data to identify negative trends and control gaps; develop risk mitigation actions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Prepare clear, actionable audit findings and reports for leadership.
  • Monitor remediation efforts and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support SMEs and leadership with guidance to ensure effective risk management.
  • Maintain records of risk oversight and become the system expert for risk-tracking technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share, manage, mitigate, and resolve risks.

At Terros Health, the Senior Risk Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s mission by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks across clinical, operational, financial, and technological domains. This role supports strategic decision-making and culture alignment by providing data-driven insights and developing frameworks that promote safety, compliance, and resilience in a trauma-informed, integrated care environment.

This role requires deep expertise in healthcare systems, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The Senior Risk Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, presents findings to senior leadership, and drives the organization’s enterprise risk management and continuous improvement efforts. This position reports to the General Counsel.

  • Design and perform audits of clinical, financial, technical, regulatory, and operational processes, to include evaluating internal control in key functional areas as directed by leadership
  • Manage risk audit findings, work with SME’s to create related risk management and mitigation work plans
  • Analyze data to proactively identify negative trends, inefficiencies, and control gaps – act upon those findings to create robust risk mitigation plans in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Gain stakeholders’ buy in and support for risk mitigation efforts
  • Prepare clear, actionable audit findings and reports to present to leadership
  • Monitor remediation efforts and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support SME’s and functional area leadership with guidance and structure to ensure functional risk management and avoidance
  • Maintain thorough records of organizational risk oversight and management, including becoming a system expert for any technologies in place to track organizational risk
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively and routinely with a broad array of internal and external stakeholders as needed to share, manage, mitigate, and resolve organizational risks

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or related field
  • 5+ Years of experience in health care operations or administration
  • 3+ Years of experience in an internal audit or risk management position, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Skills preferred/required – Strong knowledge of non-profit health care systems and regulatory governance, and Strong understanding of internal controls, as well as risk assessment and management
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy
  • Must pass background check, TB test and other pre-employment screening
