Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Rates eTrading Development Lead to modernize front‑office platforms, build low‑latency algorithms, and own architectural delivery for fixed income eTrading. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role spanning global teams and core engineering practice.

You will provide technical leadership across traders, quants, and engineers, define the tech stack, and drive CI/CD, testing, and performance improvements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java development with architectural leadership.
• Experience leading software engineers in electronic trading.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a collaborative environment.
• Proficient with Linux, Jenkins, Maven, and Git/Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of low-latency, event-driven architecture and multithreading.

Responsibilities

• Define tech stack and CI/CD pipelines for complex features.
• Deliver end-to-end features with high performance.
• Guide design and best practices for scalable, low-latency systems.
