Job summary

Mufgamericas seeks a Vice President for their Rates Desk in New York, NY. This role requires developing pricing and analysis tools, while supporting traders in generating revenue through market research and optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and at least 5 years of experience with interest rate derivatives. This role is full-time, with opportunities for competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with interest rate derivatives.
• Experience working directly with front office sales & traders.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support pricing, risk & analysis tools for the desk.
• Assist S&T desk to generate revenue through research.
• Monitor daily server processes to ensure accuracy.

Skills

Advanced Excel/VBA development skills

Programming skills in Python/C#/C++

Strong knowledge of financial markets

Experience with interest rate derivatives

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field
