Job summary

Figma seeks an experienced researcher for our Rapid Research program to work closely with design, product, and engineering teams. You will run rapid studies in one- to two-week sprints, translate findings into concrete recommendations, and present them to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

The role offers a remote or US-hub-based arrangement and requires strong analytical storytelling skills. You’ll rotate across product areas, ramp quickly, and build relationships while tackling

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in research at high-growth product organizations or equivalent.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, surveys, data analysis).
• Strong product judgment with communication and storytelling that secures executive buy-in.
• Able to ramp up quickly on new projects and deliver in one- to two-week sprints.
• Scrappy, flexible approach; adept with AI tools to improve speed, quality, or scale.

Responsibilities

• Scope and run focused research in quick sprints with sound methods.
• Turn findings into actionable recommendations for designers and PMs.
• Present product recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Rotate across product areas to build credibility and relationships quickly.
• Collaborate beyond studies by using products, participating in design reviews, and guiding teammates to act on insights.
• Clarify ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and adjust scope as you learn.
• Experiment with tools, templates, and workflows to accelerate research.
