Job summary

Figma is seeking an experienced UX researcher to support the Design product area, partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering to drive research that informs strategy and roadmap. You’ll shape AI-led experiences and identify opportunities that scale across teams from ideation to production.

The role can be based from a US hub or fully remote in the United States, with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and measurable impact on product decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX research or user insights at a high growth B2B SaaS company.
• Expertise with qualitative and quantitative methods to address product challenges including AI-powered features.
• Proven ability to identify key assumptions and design right-sized research plans.
• Experience gaining buy-in from executives and cross-disciplinary partners to drive action.
• Ability to balance speed, rigor, and inputs from research, strategy, and business insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic research and recommendations that influence the vision and strategy for Figma Design.
• Partner with product leaders to identify opportunities, generate strategy, and define success.
• Break down complex business challenges into clear research plans and own end-to-end research.
• Translate research insights into narratives that shape product roadmap priorities.
• Advocate for Research as a strategic partner in the product development process.
