Job summary

Connectors in Plano, TX is seeking a senior RAN Wireless SME for a 6–12 month contract to drive advanced 4G/5G wireless initiatives. You will troubleshoot complex wireless issues, influence system requirements, and support product launches while coordinating with customers and engineering teams.

The role requires 12+ years in wireless, strong RAN knowledge, and hands-on exposure to test tools (XCAL/QXDM/Wireshark). This onsite contract offers collaboration across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

12+ years of wireless industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong knowledge of 4G/5G air interface and RAN architectures.
Experience with call protocols, analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Experience with 3GPP Core and RAN networks.
System engineering activities: requirements, documentation, optimization, testing strategy.
Experience with XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, channel emulators.

Responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot 4G/5G call protocols and wireless issues.
Lead deep-dive customer technical sessions and translate requirements to design inputs.
Develop test strategies and performance analyses for new products.
Support lab and field trials for new product introductions.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
