Job summary

Parry Labs, LLC is seeking a Senior System Reliability and Safety Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability of defense systems. You will perform RAM analyses using FMECA, FTA, and RBD, and conduct MTBF and LCC evaluations across hardware and software lifecycles.

Responsibilities include safety analyses, hazard assessments, MBSE integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve design, verification, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years as a Reliability Engineer, defense industry preferred.
• 5+ years in system safety engineering in the DoD industry.
• Knowledge of RAM modeling techniques (FMECA, FTA, RBD).
• Experience with MTBF and LCC analyses.
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-STD-1629, and MIL-STD-882 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform RAM analysis for defense systems, components, and equipment.
• Develop RAM modeling techniques (FMECA, FTA, RBD) and MBSE integration.
• Conduct reliability predictions including MTBF and LCC analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and test plans.
• Provide design recommendations to improve reliability and reduce risks.
• Conduct safety analyses and risk assessments for complex systems and products.
• Develop and maintain RAM, Safety, and Requirements artifacts and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
