Job summary

Parry Labs is seeking a Senior System Reliability and Safety Engineer to ensure reliability, availability and maintainability of defense systems. You will perform RAM analyses using FMECA, FTA and RBD, predict MTBF and evaluate Life Cycle Cost.

You’ll lead safety analyses and integrate safety across hardware and software throughout the lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop safety plans, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882 and related

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, preferably in the defense industry.
5+ years of experience in system safety engineering in the DoD industry.
Strong knowledge of RAM modeling techniques (FMECA, FTA, RBD).
Experience with MTBF and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-STD-1629, MIL-STD-882.

Responsibilities

Perform RAM analysis for defense systems, components, and equipment.
Develop RAM modeling techniques (FMECA, FTA, RBD) and MBSE integration.
Conduct reliability predictions (MTBF) and LCC analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and test plans.
Provide design improvement recommendations to enhance reliability and safety.
Conduct reliability testing and analyze results to drive improvements.
Perform safety analyses and risk assessments of complex systems.
Develop and implement safety plans in line with industry standards.
Monitor system reliability metrics and report to stakeholders.
