Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Sr Engineer for MYA Systems Reliability to perform RAM-focused risk modeling for Gas Turbine MYA programs. You will partner with MYA Systems Engineering, Repair Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Service, and Product Line Management to deliver RAM analyses and forecasts using Weibull and other statistical tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8 years engineering experience in turbomachinery, reliability engineering, statistical analysis, or power plant domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop empirical risk models using Weibull analysis and other statistical tools.
• Provide unplanned outage risk and fallout forecasts to support maintenance and RAM efforts.
• Drive RAM Deck development for gas turbine systems.
• Monitor field and shop data for indicators of fleet issues or productivity erosion.
• Combine failure models to create unit and fleet level risk predictions for various operating scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reliability priorities and deliverables.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers in industry knowledge.
• Support meetings with subject matter expertise as required.
• Adhere to GE Vernova design practices and quality procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in products and engineering processes.
