American Rail Engineers Corporation (ARE) is seeking an Engineer V to lead multidisciplinary design teams on railroad bridge projects across North America. You will drive rehabilitation, replacement, and emergency repair efforts, mentoring others while building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited Civil/Structural degree, 8–10 years of railroad bridge experience, and a PE license with multi-state ambitions.

Formación

• PE license in at least one state; multi-state licensure preferred.
• 8–10 years of bridge engineering experience, railroad preferred.
• Experience with AREMA guidelines and railroad bridge design/rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to travel up to 15% nationwide.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead railroad bridge projects including rehabilitation, replacement, culvert, and emergency repairs.
• Mentor engineers and support ARE standards and tools.
• Prepare proposals, scopes, and fee estimates; build client relationships.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, and reports; support project delivery and documentation.
• Maintain railroad safety qualifications and comply with ARE safety rules.
• Travel up to 15% nationwide for field investigations and construction support.
