Job summary

Arup is seeking a leader to drive the South California Rail Market and major transport projects portfolio from Los Angeles. The role focuses on winning work, shaping strategic direction, and delivering projects with innovation and technical excellence.

You will collaborate with regional leaders to develop annual business and capability plans, mentor teams, and strengthen client relationships while advancing Arup's influence in the rail sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• PM/Design PM on complex rail projects in Southern California; LA Metro experience preferred.
• Knowledge of code/standards related to rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the annual rail business plan.
• Generate income and manage risk to deliver value.
• Strengthen existing and establish new strategic client relationships.
• Empower leaders to engage with clients and projects.
• Create an environment of learning and innovation for talent.
• Coordinate with the West Geography Rail Leader on project selection and bidding.
• Consult with Discipline Team Leaders on resource availability and commercial matters.
• Act as a Capture Manager with a formal capture workflow.
• Champion client relationship managers to grow influential relationships.
