Job summary

SC Engineers is seeking a Project Manager to support our Rail & Transit practice in NY. The successful candidate will manage transit infrastructure projects from design through construction, serving as the primary point of contact between clients, design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience managing transportation infrastructure projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
• Experience with transit/rail/heavy civil projects over $50 million.

Responsibilities

• Manage rail and transit projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Liaise between owners, contractors, design consultants, utility companies, and regulators.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and work plans.
• Oversee contractor performance and contract compliance.
• Lead project meetings, agendas, and progress reports.
• Review technical documents and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support proposal development and business development activities.
