Job summary

Olsson's Rail Traffic team combines traffic engineering with railroad coordination and project delivery. Senior Engineer role offers ownership of delivery activities, site visits, and collaboration with Class I railroads, state DOTs, and local agencies to improve safety and mobility nationwide.

You will develop expertise in traffic and preemption design, review plans, and lead multifaceted tasks on complex projects, with occasional travel to job sites and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license.
• 8+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Traffic engineering design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and review/prepare plans and studies.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects.
• Own project delivery activities and coordinate with clients.
