Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience in heavy civil environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management; advanced degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of project controls (cost, schedule, change management), material and contract management, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine time frame, staffing, and resource allotment.
• Coordinates with managers to plan work and staffing for each phase.
• Ensures activities comply with government regulations and safety standards.
• Monitors project costs, budgets and estimates; reports status to management.
• Hires, trains, and manages onsite staff and provides day-to-day direction.
