Job summary

Covenant Health Plainview seeks a Senior Radiology Technologist to perform high‑quality imaging across Mammography, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, and CT. You’ll position patients, operate advanced imaging equipment, prep rooms, manage contrast media, and ensure patient safety throughout the exam.

You will also mentor junior staff, capture flawless PACS images, and rotate through clinics, with after-hours coverage as required to support safe, timely diagnoses.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology program completed.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License or Texas Temporary license.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Position patients precisely and operate imaging equipment across Mammography, X-ray, Ultrasound, or CT.
• Prepare rooms and manage contrast media.
• Guide patients through each step and ensure comfort and safety.
• Capture high-quality PACS images and mentor future radiology techs.
• Rotate through clinics and cover after-hours emergencies as needed.
