Job summary

Providence in Plainview, TX is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist to lead imaging operations across Mammography, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, or CT, ensuring high‑quality PACS images and patient safety.

You will rotate through clinics, cover night shifts, mentor staff, and maintain equipment. Requirements include AMA‑approved Radiology Tech program, Texas licenses, ARRT, and BLS; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed AMA approved program in Radiology Technology.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License is required on hire or Texas Temporary License.
• National ARRT certification is required on hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality PACS images.
• Prepare rooms, manage contrast media, and assist with procedures.
• Mentor radiology technicians and support cross-team coverage, including after-hours as needed.
• Rotate across clinics and ensure patient safety, comfort, and workflow efficiency.
