Job Summary

Senior Radiology Technologist – Covenant Health Plainview

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Responsibilities

Step into the spotlight as a multi‑talented Radiology Technologist – part clinician, part detective, and part tech wizard. Armed with expertise in two or more specialties such as Mammography, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, or CT, you help uncover the stories the body cannot tell on its own. From positioning patients and operating cutting‑edge imaging equipment to preparing rooms, mastering contrast media, guiding patients through each step, mentoring future techs, and capturing flawless PACS images, you keep the department humming. Whether rotating through clinics, responding after hours for emergency cases, or continually sharpening your skills through ongoing education, you are a vital part of delivering safe, high‑quality imaging that empowers diagnosis, healing, and hope.

Shift & Location

• Available shifts: Full‑time, Night; Per diem/On‑call, Variable
• On‑site position requiring daily attendance at the designated location – Covenant Health Plainview & Center for Outpatient Diabetes Education
• Candidates must reside within commutable distance of Plainview, Texas
• Flexibility to work day, evening, or night shift as scheduled
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA‑approved School of Radiology Technology
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License – or Texas Temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist, upon hire
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, upon hire
• National Provider BLS certification – American Heart Association, upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
