Job summary

Providence Covenant Plainview seeks a Senior Radiology Technologist to perform multispecialty imaging across Mammography, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, and CT. You will position patients accurately, operate advanced imaging systems, and ensure safety and comfort throughout each study.

The role includes prepping rooms, handling contrast media, mentoring staff, and capturing flawless PACS images while supporting after‑hours emergencies and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of AMA approved Radiology Technology program.
• Texas RT license or temporary license on hire.
• ARRT certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Position patients precisely for imaging procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment across Mammography, X‑Ray, Ultrasound, or CT modalities.
• Prepare rooms, manage contrast media, and ensure patient safety.
• Guide patients through procedures and ensure comfort and understanding.
• Mentor junior radiology technologists and document procedures.
• Capture high‑quality PACS images and maintain image accuracy.
