Job summary

Providence’s St. Joseph Hospital of Orange is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging and related activities under the supervision of the Department Director and Lead Technologist.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care, collaboration with radiologists, and participation in QC and performance improvement. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program, hold California Radiologic Technologist licensure on hire, and obtain ARRT CT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public and medical staff.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement and organizational improvement activities.
• Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists.
• Participate in call schedule and remain flexible with shifts.
