Job summary

Intelerad is seeking a Senior System Support Specialist II to manage RIS, PACS, VNA, and other imaging environments. You will deliver Level II technical support, coordinate upgrades, and help ensure HIPAA/FDA compliance while maintaining system reliability.

You will collaborate with radiologists and IT teams to optimize workflows, participate in disaster recovery planning, and provide after-hours support as part of a rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Healthcare IT support, preferably in radiology.
• Experience with PACS, RIS, and VNA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated technical support for PACS, RIS, VNA, and imaging systems with Level II issues.
• Support upgrades, patches, configurations, and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and update user guides.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and IT staff to improve workflows.
• Provide on-call coverage including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
